How to Remove the Autocomplete History on the Google Chrome Browser

Google Chrome has a great feature when typing in a web address URL. However, if you have typed the wrong URL on accident it can be annoying to always see the wrong URL there. Or perhaps there is a URL you don't want showing up anymore. Below is the simple way to delete the URL autocomplete history in Chrome.

Windows Computer

1. Start typing the URL into the Chrome address bar.

2. Use the up and down arrows to highlight the address you want to remove.

3. Hold Shift and press Delete. That's it! The URL history is now deleted from the auto-complete in Google Chrome.

Mac Computer

1. Start typing the URL into the Chrome address bar.

2. Use the up and down arrows to highlight the address you want to remove.

3. Hold Fn + Shift + Delete. That's it! The URL history is now deleted from the auto-complete in Google Chrome.
